Week-end round up .

Anyone who has followed the saga ( epic ? ) of the barbecue can now be informed that it has made it's way ,fully erected , into the living room near the balcony , where it will have to stay until Spring or until he ( my son ) gets a cover for it . The grill can then replace the old one on the balcony .

Serbia and Russia are rightly upset over the illegal declaration of independence by Kosovo , this is a clear breech of international law , it is also a breech of international law to recognise an illegal State but it has not stopped the US , EU ( most of it ) , shockingly Australia , and a shed full of others from "recognising" it . It came as a thunderbolt , then , to hear that Israel was contemplating recognition , this really is beyond belief .
In the U.S. the race for the Democratic nomination is getting lively , Obama seems to be edging out Clinton , although she will probably succeed in Texas and the Southwest . Come on Hillary , get the lead out of your drawers and make a fight of it . I believe that America is ready for it's first female President .

In the U.K. it has been revealed that the TRUE level of inflation is near to 7 % , with food prices rising at 11% , with the elderly here dying from the cold , there will be deaths from hunger and malnutrition . Hell no one cares , so long as new arrivals to this country are kept warm and well fed , a few British pensioners dying will hardly be noticed . God but I am getting to hate my country and it's leaders .

Can the British Government ever tell the truth ?

This is a piece written by John Laughlands and published on The Brussels Journal , it shows just what a lying government we have in the U.K. , not only that but they are now in breech of International Law . Traitor Brown , you are the criminal , you do this illegal act NOT IN MY NAME !!!!

On Tuesday morning, 19th February, a man called the Foreign Office in London to express his opposition to London’s decision to recognise Kosovo as an independent state. He was surprised to be put through immediately to the Kosova desk, where an official took the call – just hours after the British envoy in Pristina had been to the government of the newly independent province to present his credentials. He delivered his protest but in vain. The official already had the official arguments well rehearsed, and indeed they were presented to the public on the radio on Monday morning, the day after the proclamation of independence, by the Foreign Secretary, David Miliband.

Britain’s position is that United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244, passed in June 1999 after NATO ceased its bombardment of Yugoslavia, is silent about the eventual nature of a settlement over Kosovo and that, since negotiations over such a settlement broke down, it is now time to move on to something else. This argument is a lie. UN Security Council Resolution 1244 not once but three time reaffirms “the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia” and Serbia is the successor state to Yugoslavia in international law.

The resolution is therefore not silent about the independence of Kosovo: it explicitly rejects it. Moreover, the resolution contains within it references to Yugoslavia’s agreement to the terms laid down in it (substantial autonomy for Kosovo) and that agreement would never have been obtained without the guarantees of her sovereignty.

We should not be surprised by this lying. We know how the British government was prepared to lie about the meaning of United Nations Security Council Resolutions over Iraq: it stated, both in March 2003 and in December 1998 (when Operation Desert Fox was launched, a bombardment of Iraq which lasted several days) that Iraq’s failure to fulfil the terms of resolutions voted in the aftermath of the First Iraq War authorised the use of force. In fact, as anyone can see who reads the actual texts, the resolutions did nothing of the kind since none of them linked the use of force to disarmament. (Force was authorised only to repel Iraqi forces from Kuwait.)

But what the anecdote about the man at the Foreign Office shows is that the British government hit the ground running when Kosovo proclaimed independence on Sunday. News reports beforehand, which trailed the announcement for days and weeks in advance, said that everything had been carefully choreographed, and so it proved. The Western powers (especially the United States) had told the Albanians in Kosovo in advance that their independence would be recognised when they proclaimed it.

It was because the Albanians knew this that they had no interest in negotiating with Belgrade. The negotiations which did take place throughout 2007 were just for show; the Kosovo Albanians and their patrons in Washington were in fact aiming at independence all along. It is because the role of America was crucial that the Serbian Prime Minister, Vojislav Koštunica – whom everyone feted as a democrat when he overthrew Slobodan Milošević in 2000 but who is now dismissed as “a nationalist” – specifically attacked Washington for pursuing Kosovo independence for its own “military” motives. It was also for this reason that the streets of Priština were awash with American flags on Sunday night.

(Note the poster saying, in English, “USA kick some Putin Ass. Serbia Burn in Hell Forever”. You have to go pretty far in the world to find people who still like George W. Bush, but they do exist in Kosovo and Rwanda, where Bush went the day after the declaration.)

The secession of Kosovo from Serbia seems to bring to an end the long break-up of Yugoslavia. Since the overthrow of Milošević in 2000, one former Yugoslav republic, Montenegro, and one autonomous region within a republic, Kosovo, have seceded, following the lead set by Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia and Bosnia-Herzegovina in 1991-1992. There are plenty of Albanians in other parts of Serbia, including in the Preševo Valley, where they are very much in the majority, and there are plenty in Western Macedonia too: maybe they will also agitate for independence now.

But what the events of last Sunday remind us is that the West had micro-managed the break-up of this country created at Versailles ever since the troubles started in the summer of 1991. At every stage, the EU and the Americans have held the hands of the various Yugoslav leaders. The EU talked out of both sides of its mouth as it brokered a series of agreements between the Yugoslav republics, from the Brioni agreement signed in July 1991, while simultaneously telling the secessionist states that they could rely on recognition if they declared independence. Croatia and Slovenia duly obtained it, under German pressure, at the Maastricht summit in December 1991. As with Kosovo in 2008, support from the international community was the crucial factor in pushing these states to act as they did. It encouraged the secessionists to look outside of Yugoslavia, and it effectively stamped on any chance that the institutions of the Yugoslav state might produce a solution. In particular, the US ambassador, Warren Zimmerman, pushed the Muslim president of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Alija Izetbegović, to rescind his signature on the Cutileiro agreement of 18 March 1992 to which he and the Croats and Serbs had agreed.

This decision, and the concomitant insistence by the West that Bosnia remained united as a state, was directly responsible for the fact that the Bosnian war was so protracted. Bosnia had been elevated by Yugo-nostalgics and their allies in the West to the level of an icon of multiculturalism, and it became a symbol for the sort of post-national future which Europe wanted for itself and the whole world. Yet the insistence that it be maintained as a state was absurd in view of the fact that the West was also supporting the break-up of multi-ethnic Yugoslavia. This basic incoherence in Western policy meant that the Bosnian civil war lasted for three years, whereas if Bosnia had been allowed to fall apart, as it should have been once Yugoslavia itself was destroyed, it might have ended in a few months. Tens of thousands of Bosnians died for multiculturalism, just as millions died for Bolshevism.

At no stage, however, has the West’s role in the break-up of Yugoslavia ever been critically examined, still less admitted. On the contrary, the “narrative” (to use a trendy expression) peddled in the West is that the West’s interventions are well-meaning and high-minded, stymied only by the atavistic nationalism of the people on the ground (mainly the Serbs). This narrative continues to be peddled by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, which prosecutes only crimes committed by citizens of the former Yugoslavia and whitewashes those committed by NATO.

Western policy in the Balkans is the political equivalent of Münchhausen’s Syndrome by proxy. The only difference is that it actual inflicts physical pain on the patient (as opposed to simulating it) with a view to then being able to present itself as the carer. Like an arsonist who sets fire to a building in order to then come and heroically put it out, the West’s policy in the Balkans is the result of a special pathology, the desire to be loved. And as with individuals who suffer from this disorder, the result is that it is hated.

The E.U. commits an act of War against Serbia .

The E.U. has sent a force into Kosovo to enable a gang of terrorists to unlawfully declare " independence " from Serbia . That Kosovo is a part of Serbia is undeniable ; U.N.Security Council Resolution 1244 recognises Kosovo as a sovereign part of Serbia ; therefore the E.U. is acting against a U.N. Resolution and we know what happened to Saddam when he did that .
It would be gratifying to see Serbia appeal to Russia to uphold the U.N. Resolution ( and following the US/UK precedent ) and throw the E.U. upstarts and their KLA friends out of Kosovo ; whilest they are at it Putin may wish to escort the E.U. rabble all the way home to Brussels .
Further more since the E.U. is acting illegally should not the entire E. U. Commission and the Council of Ministers be arrested , I call upon the Police to do their duty and at least investigate .

Late update : the greatfull KLA has thrown grenades at the vehicles and offices of NATO , and to show their appreciation have also thrown them at the E.U. offices .

Now why did I not think about doing this .

I repost this , with out comment , from Uppompeii , as you can see it is by The Oppinionator , there is nothing further that I can say .

BRITISH TAXPAYERS FUND MUSLIM SCROUNGERS & THEIR 11 CHILDREN

FROM THEOPINIONATOR:
Another muslim scrounger happy to turn his "talent" for pumping out children into a money making scheme. Even though he is a qualified and experienced teacher, Mohammed (what else) Salim uses his self imposed unemployed status to spend fulltime running his political party, Islam Zinda Badd, whose name means ‘Long Live Islam' thus allowing him to rant and protest against the same people who pay for and provide his, and his family's, every need.

THIS is what the policy of rampant muslim immigration into the UK has brought us. We are all stupid to let it continue.

UNEMPLOYED scrounger Mohammed Salim is getting the state to pay for him, his wife and their ELEVEN kids—because he can't be bothered to go to work.

He quit his £27,000 job teaching maths and science three years ago and is BETTER OFF claiming £29,096 a year in benefits.

And he has much more time to devote to his Islamic political party— which ATTACKS the British government, even though this country gives his family their food, clothes and house for free.

Mohammed is also busy planning his TWELFTH baby with wife Noreen, 35, but has no plans to get a job.

He grinned: "For many years I worked in Derby as a teacher, earning £27,000 a year, and Noreen would be at home with the kids.

"I would come home at weekends. Then I moved back to work in Manchester and took a pay cut to £24,000. It was a load of c***.

"I was teaching at a college and I'd be up at 5.30am with the kids then have to go to work.

"I just couldn't be a***d with sitting in traffic. I'd be sat in traffic for hours and I felt like I'd done a day's work by the time I got there, I was so stressed."

"It's nice to be at home with the kids and for Noreen to have a hand."

That's a luxury most hard-working taxpayers who struggle to support their families can only dream about.

The family we're all supporting live in a comfy five-bedroom house on a quiet street in Rochdale, Gtr Manchester. They get £19,000 a year Jobseeker's Allowance, £6,600 Child Benefit, £2,496 free school meals and £1,000 Council Tax Relief.

They have a minibus to swan around in, two TVs and a computer, plus a garden full of brightly-coloured toys. Noreen has never worked since marrying Mohammed—who is her cousin—when she was 16.

She said: "I spend all day clearing up after the children. As soon as you pick up one pile of crisps or mop up drink, there's another."

As she sits on the sofa nursing their latest addition—an as yet unnamed two-week-old girl—Mohammed explains: "I can't stand condoms.

Gift

"I used a condom once. It was awful. Never again, it's nothing like the real thing. It's up to God whether we have any more kids."

He chortles: "It says in the Bible and the Koran to go forth and multiply, and that's what we'll do. It's Noreen, she finds me irresistible!

"I see my children as God's blessing, as a gift from God. Some people out there pay to have children, through IVF or surrogacy. I feel so lucky that I can have as many as I want.

"I want to carry on my family name and for my children and grandchildren to remember me."

The couple's ten other children are Muhammad Aves, 16, Sarah Zenib Bibi, 15, Maryam Hajra Bibi, 13, Muhammad Bilal, 11, Muhammad Haider Ali, nine, Halimn Sadia Bibi, eight, Umayah Habiba Hadia Bibi, seven, Saadiqah Fatima Bibi, five, Muhammad Ibrahim Amter, three, and Muhammad Imam Ismail, 18 months.

But Mohammed worries about how he will send them to university —because it is not free.

He said: "I think it's important for them to enjoy themselves and I make sure they have a good education.

"I don't know how we'd afford to send them to university.

"It's a shame really, because when I went it was free but you have to pay now. But it's in God's hands."

Mohammed moved to Britain from Pakistan in 1966, when he was eight. He went on to university and qualified as a teacher. He then taught computer studies, maths and science at primary and high schools and a higher education college in Manchester and Derbyshire until three years ago.

Soon afterwards he stood as a candidate in the Rochdale constituency in the 2005 General Election, using an anti-war message.

But he only got 361 votes—less then one per cent of the total cast. Mohammed said: "It goes to show that we are not living in a democracy, because a democracy is supposed to reflect the opinions and the interests of the majority.

"The so-called democratic process has let down the Rochdale people, just as it let down the people of the entire country when the Blair government went to war in Iraq."

Previously, Mohammed staged a hunger strike in protest at the publication of Salman Rushdie's Satanic Verses—which some Muslims claimed was blasphemous.

He said: "The hunger strike was successful in that people saw I was prepared to make a sacrifice for what I believed in."

Wealth

Now he spends his time running his political party, Islam Zinda Badd, whose name means ‘Long Live Islam'.

He said: "I set it up to protest about the war in Iraq and the NHS, and we want to show that all Muslims are not terrorists.

"We use the Koran for guidance. We are not radical.

We believe that we should look after each other, especially children and the elderly, and that wealth should be shared.

"That is what is great about Britain. In Pakistan the government does not look after you like in England. The government here is so supportive.

"It will help people out of work and it has a good welfare state. Islam teaches sharing of wealth. The people who put money in might complain, but the people who can earn need to look after those who can't. The only people I object to are people who abuse the system."

We know just what you mean, Mohammed.

And he has no plans to go back to Pakistan despite his party's anger at British policy. He said: "I did want to move back at one point but now it is so unstable—and I don't think we would be able to have the quality of life we have here."

A neighbour in Mohammed's street said he was disgusted by the Salim family's cushy lifestyle.

The married dad of four—who did not want to be named—said: "I only earn £15,000 a year in a factory and my wife is a part-time cleaner. We would be better off chucking in our jobs and claiming benefits like him down the road.

"But we want to work because it gives you a sense of worth and purpose.

"He used to be a teacher and it sickens me that a man with such a good brain can just give it up and have everything paid for by the state. It shouldn't be allowed.

"Why on earth is the state subsidising him to sit at home doing nothing when he could be teaching kids, paying taxes and contributing to society.

"There is something very wrong with a society that allows this to happen. The benefits system needs changing."

The Arch-bishop of Canterbury -- Part 2 .

I borrowed the cartoon from the Tundra Tabloids , a Scandinavian blog that publishes the funniest cartoons and illustrations , it also has great reports and insights often absent elsewhere .
Instead of keeping his mouth shut , his Grace compounds his idiocy by trying to distance himself from his utterances . He is now dis-agreed with by Lord Carey , the Arch-bishop of York and the Cardinal Arch-bishop in London , along with assorted senior clergy of a number of Christian faiths . The only clergy supporting him are second rate bishops and boot-lickers who aspire to the purple .
I cannot but think that the closet Catholic , Blair , inflicted Rowan Williams onto the Church of England as some sort of revenge , after all there was no way the the head of the Church in Wales was going to be suitable for the C of E .
The only people drawing comfort from this sorry saga are the Muslims , who see that if one adopts one principle of Sharia into British law one adopts it all ; one cannot split bits off a system of laws , one has to accept the whole thing and if his Grace cannot see this then he should resign immediately .

Arch-bishop of Canterbury calls for Sharia courts in the U.K.

The Arch-bishop of Canterbury announces that he is in favour of Muslims establishing Sharia courts in the U.K. , however he did not extend the invitation to the Jewish community to establish Sanhedrin courts here . Nor did he offer these concessions to other faiths , indeed my own religious sect would want to establish courts based on the Justica system and indeed if Sharia courts are founded then Equality legislation would allow my group to have equal treatment .
However so ludicrous are the utterances of Rowan Williams that it would be fair to question his sanity , indeed many of the actions of this man have , at the very least one should question his judgement and also to question his fitness to lead the Anglican Communion .

Round up of events .

First , an apology , I have been too busy placing comments on others blogs to update my own , all too often the urge to say what I think when reading posts becomes irresistible .

Oh dear , the barbecue grill is still in the lower hall in Chicago , pending the development of a " transporter "
I suggest taking it apart and carrying the bits up separately .

Reports in the U.K press re: female doctors and medical students of a certain persuasion refusing to bare their arms in order to wash or scrub up is really unconscionable , in order to meet clinical and health and safety standards ( to say nothing of infection control measures ) washing is not negotiable . Not to wash places the patient at considerable risk , and it also puts the NHS Trust at risk too ; if a doctor wishes to put their culture before the welfare of their patients then there is NO place in medicine or surgery for them .
Furthermore the NHS dress code which mandates short sleeves , must be enforced , if you do not wish to comply then leave .
