Following recent electoral set backs to the Labour Party the viability of Gordon Brown's Premiership must come into question ,but who is to replace him . Never has Labour had such a shortage of telent in the Cabinet , if I was to be realy nasty I could suggest that the ideal next leader would be David Milliband or Ed Balls or the fragrant Harriet . The Labour Party would benefit by a return to its socialist ideals , but not " old Labour" , the Toffs debacle in Crewe showed that there is no desire to return to class warfare .
My choice for the new Leader for the Party would be Dr. John Reid , probably an unusual choice , but in my humble opinion , a man of interlect , integrity and substance ; however that is not what the Party is looking for , much is the pity .
